Ariën Mak studied physical education and physical therapy in The Netherlands. As a physical therapist/personal trainer he came in contact with EMS training and was amazed by what they could do. He started his first EMS studio in 2013, and currently (2018) has 4 studios in Amsterdam and Haarlem.
