Infrastructure Engineer lead (Information Security interested)

Identify, review and research vulnerability impact and remediation, mitigate software and hardware vulnerabilities, track progress of vulnerability remediation and escalate when needed

· Ensuring software patches and mitigations are applied in line with the agreed patching cycle

· Lead the incident response team and provide advanced analysis, assist in development of strategies to respond to and recover from a security breach

· Perform risk assessment of new IT projects, identify potential risk areas, recommend appropriate controls, together with Information Security Administrator (ISA)

· Provide day-to-day support and maintenance of all on-premise and cloud-based systems and services

· Strengthen MBE by proactively proposing new systems and process improvements

· Maintain systems availability at the agreed level and select + implement security and monitoring tools

· Recurrent systems security audit and assessment; prepare different security and operational audit reports

· Create and maintain policies and procedures for IT infrastructure processes, applications, systems, hardware and software

· Responsible for performing IT General Controls, IT Risk Policies and procedures within MBE, together with the ISA

· Set up and maintain IT processes and procedures, policies and documentation

· Keep track of latest market developments and trends

· Backup management, regular DR drill tests preparation and execution

· Participation in recurrent IT audits, preparing necessary reports

· Support or manage internal IT projects

· Resolving issues within the MBE IT landscape

· If and when required, provide first line support towards end-users

· Optional on call duty

Requirements:

• Practical experience in VMware vSphere, VMware Horizon (desired), server virtualization and VDI (VCP or VCAP certification is desirable)
• In-depth knowledge of IT operation, both on-premise and cloud-based environments (Windows Server and/or Azure-related certification is desirable)
• Excellent working experience in Microsoft AD, DNS, DHCP, Windows Server management
• Solid understanding of security principals, protocols, authentication and authorization mechanisms, most common security vulnerabilities
• Proficient in security and cyber-protection solutions: antimalware, DLP, IPS, application control, vulnerability, security scans etc
• Experience in SIEM, Nessus is preferable
• Information Security experience in specialized roles such as system penetration testing is desirable
• Working experience in Intune mobile device management platform is desirable
• Working experience in SAN, storage and backup infrastructure management
• Knowledge or experience in BCP/DR drill test will have an added advantage
• ITIL certification or knowledge is preferred
• Automation and scripting experience
• Experience of good knowledge in of project management methods
• Ability to be self-motivated and resourceful with limited supervision
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow-through on issues in a timely manner
• Well organized, flexible, resourceful, and efficient with strong attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to "think outside the box"
• Must be able to work with a positive attitude in a fast paced and culturally diverse environment
• Ability to handle complex issues and problems
• Ability to prioritize initiatives and communicate effectively with leadership on these priorities
• Good verbal and written communication skills
